Porgy is the name of the pet possum whom I feed...Yes, pet, because tonight I was PETTING it!! I left some chicken and spaghetti (leftovers) in a dish on the floor. Sure enough, along comes the possum and was eating it. Better than eating my cats food! So I slowly snuck up on it, I guess their eye sight isn't too good, and delicately touched it's back hair. It paused, then kept eating, so I tried it again, of just touching the hair, it would pause eating, then finally I was actually petting it like a cat, on the head, back and shoulders! When I moved my feet is when it decided to run out....wow

Part of the creative process is finding the right living space where one feels the freedom to be able to explore.....SO I'm in a transition, I had to get over my prejudices and fear and take the dive into the pool of uncertainty because when I come back up for air it will be with my surroundings having morphed into teen-aged dreams

Pastels---

I have finally broke out the pastels.....I bought a nice Rembrandt set 15 whole sticks, 30 half sticks about 4 years ago. And I let them sit in the box. Then I bought a box of mixed colors of pastels at a yard  sale for only $3!!!  Ah.... now I can use them and get over my ingrained feeling of being wasteful if I use it....So now with the help of some youtube tutorials videos I'm exploring painting with pastels.....

Seed pods!! I love seed pods.... these are from a vine, not sure what the name is ....
